音楽ホール棟+図書館+芸術デザイン棟+シンボルロード

デネフェス・オンデザイン設計JVで2015年末から設計監理を行ってきた大分芸文短大キャンパス整備第一期が, 3月の音楽ホール棟・シンボルロード整備の完成を以ってようやく完了. GA Japan 158にて掲載していただいた. 右側は大分のローカルな情報誌「フムフム vol.13」.

In this March, the project of 'Campus Renewal of Oita Prefectural College of Arts and Culture, 1st phase' ; design & supervision at Denefes+Ondesign since the end of 2015, has been completed, by the complete of the Music Hall Building and the Symbol Road. Posted by 'GA Japan 158', and 'Humhum vol.13' local paper of Oita.

En el marzo, la proyecto de 'Renovacion del Campus de la Escuela de Arte y Cultura de la Prefectura de Oita, 1a fase'; deseno y supervision en Denefes+Ondesign desde finales de 2015, se ha completado, por la finalizacion del Edificio de Salon de Musica y el Camino Simbolo. Publicado por 'GA Japon 158', y 'Humhum vol.13' periodico local de Oita.

3年に渡り, 実施設計から監理, 完成までこのようなプロジェクトに携われたことは本当にありがたいことだった. 3年前, 木々の鬱蒼とした既存キャンパスに足を踏み入れ, 1ヶ月に2回ほどここに通い, 大学側の人, 県の人, 施工者の人, 本当に色々な人々と議論を重ねながら, 次第にキャンパスが設計パースのイメージに様変わりしていくのを見続けることができた. 3棟の新築と1棟の改修, そして外構, 紆余曲折ありつつ, 始めにプロポーザルで共有されていた全体像をリレー形式でつないでいきながら.

It was really grateful for me to participate in such a project as a project manager for 3 years, from final design process, supervision and the completion. 3 years ago, since I visited the existing drowsy campus, have come here twice a month, have argued many times with many persons like the staffs of college, the government workers, the builders, and I have been able to watch the gradual change of the campus toward the first image of the design. 3 new buildings, 1 building renovation, and the landscape. There has been many twists and turns but with relaying the first overall picture at the proposal.

Era muy agradecido por me a participar en tal proyecto por 3 anos como gerente de proyecto, desde processo del deseno final hasta supervision y la terminacion. Hace 3 anos, desde habia visitado campus con bosque denso, seguiaba a venirlo dos veces al mes, teniaba discusiones muchos veces con muchos personas como los personales de la universidad, los trabajadores del gobierno, y los constructores, y he podido ver el cambio gradual del campus al primer cuadro del deseno. 3 edificios nuevos, 1 edificio de renovacion y al paisaje. Habia muchos giros y vueltas, pero con transmitiendo el primer cuadro global de la propuedsta.

県産杉の製材を立体的に組み合わせた, 構造としての雲状木屋根.

正門脇に新築する図書館, そこから伸びるシンボルロード, その突き当たりに新築する音楽ホール棟, 曲がった先には芸術デザイン棟. そのルートを迎え入れるようにこの木屋根がそびえて, 点在する居場所を作っている.

図書館の軒は低いところでは2.4m程度. 軒下を歩くだけで杉の香りも感じられる. 平日には軒下で座ったり, 立ち止まって話す学生の姿もちらほら. 納まりとか出来栄えとか以前に, こうした体感的・体験的な部分が実現できていることは素直に嬉しい.

'The roof of cloudy wooden truss' which is 3D combine of ceder lumber from Hita, Oita. The New Library beside the main gate, the Music Hall Building at the end of the Symbol Road from the main gate, and the Art and Design Building is at the corner of the New Library. Catching these routes, the wooden truss roofs spreaded create spaces of activities. The eaves of the Library is about 2.4M height as minimum, you can feel the aroma of the cedar only by walking under the eaves. At daytime, some students sit or stand there and are talking. I'm very happy with this accomplishment of those 'bodily sensation' and 'expeliencial' parts; than the details or the execution.

'El techo de armadura de madera nubulada' que es 3D combinar de madera de cedro de Hita, Oita. La nueva Biblioteca al lado de la puerta principal, el Edificio de Salon de Musica al final del Camino Simbolo desde la puerta principal, y el Edificio de Arte y Deseno esta en la esquina de la nueva Biblioteca. Cogiendo estas rutas, los techos de armadura de madera extendido crean los espacios de actividades. Los aleros de la Biblioteca tiene aproximadamente 2.4M de altura minimo, por eso tu puedes sentir la aroma del cedro, solo por caminar bajo los aleros. Estoy muy alegro con esta realizacion de los partes 'sensacion corporal' y 'expeliencial', mas que la detalla o la ejecucion.

図書館のラーニングコモンズ. 周囲の外構に沿わせて, 3段階の高さの場所がある.

本当は内部含めて全て同じ雲状木屋根構造としたかったが, 法的条件はクリアしたものの建主との協議の末叶わず. 同じく相互依存構造の木天井で外部の木組との連続性を作り出している. 構造ではない木天井ではあるものの, 照明, 空調や柱割等との整合は注意深く行った.

The Learning Commons of the Library. Along the exterior terrain, it has three-tiered space. Honestry, we wanted to make all the space with wooden truss structure; also it saticefyed the law condition;  however it wasn't accepted by the owner. So, to create  the continuity of interior and exterior, we've suggested the similer reciprocal wooden ceiling. Though it is not the structure, we carefully adjusted it with lightings, AC equipments and columns.

Los Comunes de Aprendizaje de la Biblioteca. A lo largo del terreno exterior, tiene espacios de tress niveles. Honestidad, quieriamos crear todo el espacio con la estructura de aleros de madera; cumple la condicion de ley tambien; pero no fue acceptado por el propietario. Por eso, para crear el continuidad de interior y exterior, hemos sugerido el techo similar de madera reciproco. Aunque no es la structura, lo ajustamos cuidadosamente con iluminaciones, los equipamietos de aire acondicionado, y los pilares.

開架書架の閲覧カウンター. シンボルロードを見渡せる特等席で, 平日は学生に人気の席になっているようだ. 設計時の協議では, 大学側からガラス貼りで落ち着かないのではとの懸念も出ていたが, 今のところは問題無さそう.

外部の木組みは,サッシ上のフィーレンデールトラスに接続され, トラス部分は排煙窓.

The reading counter of the library. 'Special seats' with the view of the Symbol Road, which is popular with students at daytime. In the design phase the staffs of collage concerned about this full-height-window seats, but now it may be no problem. The exterior wooden truss is connected to vierendeel truss above the window. There are smoke exhaust windows between the truss.

La mesa de leer, 'asientos espaciales' con le vista del Caomino Simbolo, que es popular entre los estudiantes. En el fase de deseno, los personajes de universidad estaban preocupado por este asientos con ventanas de altura completa. Pero ahora, sin alguna problema. Los aleros de maderas exterior esta conjuntado a aloero vierendeel encima de la ventana. Entre los aloeros vierendeel son las ventanas de humos.

特に工事中, 極端な表現だが, 常にここは「戦い」のために来る場所だった.

まだ砂利敷だったキャンパス内を, 大量の図面の入ったキャリーバックと模型を持って現場事務所に向かい, 現場変更や決定のため毎回何らかの「戦い」があった. 施工者に恵まれたのは大きかった.

3月に完成後では初めてキャンパスや図書館に足を踏み入れて, 当然なのだがそうした「戦い」などあたかも最初から無かったかのように静かで清澄な空間が広がり,そこで普通に学生が過ごしているのを見た. その時に初めて, 良い建築が実現できたのでは, と思った次第だ.

Especially during construction, this campus was always a site for 'struggle' or 'conflict' for me. Everytime we go toward the field container office, dragging a carry bag with drawings and a model, and everytime there are some 'struggle' of deciding or changing on site. It was salvation to having good builders. It was first time after the completion to walk around the campus and the library in March. It is very naturall but, I saw the quiet and clear space used by students, as if there wasn't any 'struggle' or 'conflict' from the beginning. Also it was a first time for me to notice that a good architecture has been realized. I'd really like to say thank you to all the person concerned.

Especialmente durante la construccion, este campus era el sitio de 'lucha' o 'conflicto' para yo. Todo los veces, ibamos a la oficina de contenadores, arrastrando un bolso con dibujos y una maqueta, y teniamos algunas 'luchas' para decidir o cambiar en el sitio. Fue la salvacion de tener buenos constructores. Fue la primera vez despues de terminacion a caminar por el campus y en la biblioteca en marzo. He visto el espacio tranquilo y libre usado por los estudiantes; aunque es la cosa muy natural; como si no hubiera ninguna 'lucha' o 'conflicto' desde el principio. Tambien fue la primera vez para yo a notar que habia realizado una buena arquitectura. Queria decir gracias a toda la persona interesada.
